The flu season is approaching, and our annual flu vaccination programme will begin from early September.
We encourage eligible patients at North Hyde Practice to book their flu vaccination appointment as soon as possible.
You will be able to book in one of two ways:
- By Phone: Call the practice on 0208 573 8560
- By SMS Link: We will be sending eligible patients a text message towards the end of August with a link to self-book your appointment directly from your phone device.

Who is Eligible for a Free NHS Flu Vaccine?
You are entitled to a free flu vaccination if you are:
- Aged 65 years or over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2026)
- Pregnant
- Aged 6 months to under 65 years with a long-term health condition such as:
- Chronic respiratory disease (including COPD, asthma requiring steroid treatment)
- Heart disease
- Kidney or liver disease
- Diabetes
- Neurological conditions (e.g., Parkinson’s, MS)
- Weakened immune system
- Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2025 (offered a nasal spray at the practice)
- All primary school and some secondary school children (offered via school vaccination teams)
- People in long-stay residential care
- Carers (those receiving carer’s allowance or the main carer for an older/disabled person)
- Frontline health and social care workers
