Flu cases are rising - protect yourself this winter!

flu vaccination

We are very concerned about the very high levels of flu circulating much earlier than usual this winter.

Current data suggests this could be the worst flu season in over 10 years.

  • The best way to protect yourself is by getting a flu vaccination. We are offering walk-in flu vaccinations every day after 2 PM at the practice.
  • Simply come in and let Reception know you’re here for your flu vaccine.
  • Please do not delay the earlier you get the vaccine, the better your chance of being protected.

Who is eligible for a free NHS flu vaccine?

  • Pregnant women (any stage of pregnancy)
  • Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2025 (vaccinated by nasal spray or injection)
  • Children aged 6 months to under 18 years in clinical risk groups (long-term health conditions)
  • Adults aged 65 and over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2026)
  • Adults aged 18 to under 65 in clinical risk groups, e.g.:
